Japanese Law Firm Miura & Partners has announced its plans for expanding its presence overseas with new offices that are set to open in Jakarta, London, and San Francisco, which would be the firm’s first offices outside Japan. Miura was founded in January 2019, headquartered at Tokyo’s Otemachi with offices at Shibuya and Kanda districts of Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Nagoya.
In Indonesia Miura has entered into an alliance with the local firm Atama Law, which is a four member firm headed by partner Richi Armando Sheyoputra. This alliance will be overseen by Miura’s Riyochi Inoue, the lead partner of the Firm’s Southeast Asia and South Asia Practice. The office of London will be co-led by partners Haruka Murata and Masayuki Atsumi and the office of San Francisco Miura has entered a strategic alliance with Yorozu Law Group, which is known for providing legal services to Japanese companies and the US-based subsidiaries for more than 20 years.
