DLA Piper has hired a data analytics team of 10 members from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath led by Bennett Borden, who is a qualified lawyer will join as a partner and the chief data scientist of DLA’s new artificial intelligence and data analytics practice team. Bennett Borden will help the DLA and its clients to monetize and productize their data to develop algorithmic models and conduct discovery upon internal investigations, which also includes the verification of AI Systems.
Clifford Chance’s first head of data science Mirko Bernardoni created the Data Science Lab alongside fellow data scientist Michael Seddon where the pair had left after two years to form their own AI boutique company.
