The Australian Law Firm Moulis Legal has appointed Zarmina Nasir as the new Chief Executive Officer, who will be replacing Suzanne Moulis, as she is going to switch over from her present role to the firm as a Board Director. Since 2015, Suzanne Moulis has been performing her role as the Chief Executive Officer, whereby she had helped to a great extent in diversifying the scale of business being performed by the Firm. Also, at the same time she was looking forward to give opportunities to freshers in the firm, who would be taking the responsibility to expand the rate of efficiency of the firm’s present scale of operations towards the future. In addition to continuing as a part of the Board of Directors, she will also be taking on the role of a Chief Officer with a Digital Transformation Consultancy. Prior to joining Moulis Legal, she worked at GHD and administrated her roles in the areas of administration and business development with Deloitte and legacy firms like Dawson and Freehills.
Zarmina Nasir brings with her an experience of more than 20 years in terms of leadership and governance roles which are highly regarded in terms of Australian practice. Most recently she served as a director for advisory roles, which include positions like that of a Senior Advisor to Communication Link and as a Gender Norms Director at Investing in Women, which is a programme introduced by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, of the Government of Australia.
In the present context, Zarmina Nasir will be tasked with the responsibility to advance Moulis Legal’s Service Delivery task and help in terms of navigating the regulatory change and other global challenges, that the firm will be coming across. At the same time, she has spent over four years as a Senior Advisor at Communication Link and two-and-a-half years at Investing in Women Initiative of the Government of Australia. Before this position, she served as a director in the Department of Social Services, overseeing place-based engagement tasks.
